Privacy Policy

Overview

PII Anomalyzer is built with privacy as a core principle. The desktop application processes all documents locally on your machine. No document content, detected PII, or analysis results are ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Data the Application Does Not Collect

  • Document content or text you process
  • Detected PII entities or analysis results
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Crash reports or diagnostics
  • Browser cookies or tracking identifiers
  • Device fingerprints

License Validation

The only network communication the application makes is periodic license validation through Lemon Squeezy. This transmits your license key for verification and does not include any document content or usage data. The application functions fully offline with a 5-day grace period between validations.

Data Storage

All documents, analysis results, and application settings are stored locally on your device. License keys are stored securely in your operating system's credential manager (Windows Credential Manager or macOS Keychain). We have no access to any data on your machine.
