Is there a free trial?

Yes. PII Anomalyzer includes a 7-day free trial with full access to all features.

How does licensing work?

Licenses are managed through Lemon Squeezy. After purchase, you receive a license key that activates the app. The license validates periodically when online, with a 5-day offline grace period.

Does it really work offline?

Yes. After installation, PII Anomalyzer requires no internet connection. All AI/NLP models and OCR engines are bundled with the application. The only network call is periodic license validation.

What platforms are supported?

Windows (standalone .exe and Microsoft Store via MSIX) and macOS (DMG). Desktop only — no mobile or web version.

What document formats can it process?

PDF (native text, fillable forms, and scanned/image-based), DOCX, XLSX, XLS, XLSM, XLSB, and plain text. Non-PDF formats are automatically converted for processing.

Can I use it for HIPAA compliance?

PII Anomalyzer supports compliance workflows by detecting and redacting protected health information (PHI) and other PII. Since all processing happens locally, there are no data transfer concerns. However, the tool itself is not HIPAA-certified — compliance depends on your overall data handling practices.
